Mechanical Testing

Mechanical tests are used to determine a sample’s ability to withstand a variety of pulls, rotations, and hermetic capabilities.

Tests can be designed to simulate long periods of normal wear by applying typical forces repeatedly, or they can be setup to apply maximum force to determine breakdown thresholds. The equipment at Vertical Laboratories is capable of Tensile testing as high as 30k lbf, and we regularly machine test fixtures to support bespoke test setups.
